Sonal and Logan showcased creativity and skill with every detail from concept to plating.
The featured menu highlights crispy samosa croquettes, a richly spiced tandoori lamb loin, and a sweet, aromatic gajjar halwa to close.

Culinary Clash 2026 Recap- Night 1 đ˝ď¸
From concept to executionâthis is what Culinary Clash is all about.
As a student-run restaurant experience, Culinary Clash challenges teams to develop a cohesive brand, craft a multi-course menu, and deliver a seamless dining service to live guests.
This teamâs menu reflected a clear, intentional vision:
⨠Hamachi Ceviche with calamansi coconut leche de tigre and kinilaw-inspired elements
⨠Pan-Seared Marinated Duck with yucca-parsnip purÊe and aji amarillo duck jus
⨠Kabocha Flan with kumquat, hazelnuts, kiwi, and salted shortbread crumble
Each course was designed not only for flavor, but for balance, presentation, and overall concept alignmentâbringing a refined, globally inspired narrative to the table.

Various women chefs from The Bay Area with one assignment: reinterpret that great American immigrant - the taco - however they see fit. Any cuisine. Any influence. Their taco, their rules. All tacos will be judged by a panel of chefs.

Culinary Clash 2026 tickets are now available!
The Culinary Clash is a 15-year partnership between CCSF's Culinary Arts and Hospitality Studies department and the SF Intercontinental Hotel.
Three teams of CCSF Culinary students will take over the hotel kitchen (March 1st, 8th, and 15th) to present their own original fine dining menus, with the guidance and support of Chef Norma Whitt, IHG Director of F&B. Each pair of students is competing for scholarships, cash prizes, and culinary glory!
