CA NBPTS Candidate Subsidy Program Information - Professional Standards (CA Dept of Education) Overview of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) Candidate Subsidy Program for teachers working in high-priority schools to apply for the candidate subsidy to cover up to $2,500 for the cost of certification.

SFUSD National Board Certification Program is proud to support candidates and NBCTs with robust systems from pre-candidacy to teacher leadership, and an annual salary stipend of $5K for NBCTs.
