PUBLIC NOTICE – NOW ACCEPTING PROPOSALS FOR FOOD SERVICE VENDING

Request for proposals will be received by FranDelJA Enrichment Center at 901 Fairfax Avenue, Unit B, San Francisco, CA until August 15, 2025, for lunch meals for children ranging from ages 18 months to 5 years old.

Provide approximately 100 lunches – five days a week to our center location. All meals, including our allergy alternative meal options, must meet the standards set by the United States department of Agriculture (USDA) for Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) meals of that type, including whole grains and scratch-cooked baked items, along with organic or local produce are required, as well as hormone free dairy products. Fruits and vegetables must be fresh, not canned. No packaging or convenient food, or canned fruits/juices that may contain artificial preservatives, high fructose corn syrup, or artificial trans-fat, or fried foods.

The contract will be awarded to the vendor whose proposal is responsive and is most advantageous to our center, price, and other factors considered and outlined in this request.
