During Real World Wednesday, Millennium students went to visit Baton! Baton is an innovative digital platform that leverages AI to eliminate waste in trucking, optimize freight networks, and lower carbon emissions. π Students had a great time getting hands-on experience with coding and learning how to use tech for a goal to better our world. Thank you so much to Baton for hosting us! ππ»

π‘οΈ Our Website is Safe! π‘οΈ
This week, 7th and 8th graders saved the day! Earlier this week, Millennium School faced a (simulated) network attack, and our STEM Quest teams stepped up to defend us. π»
For their Quest culmination, led by Abigail, students put their skills to the test in a live simulation. From deciphering hidden messages in images (steganography) to reverse engineering and digital forensics, they used tech for good to fend off a virtual threat.
The event even featured a live news broadcast as the drama unfolded! π₯ποΈ We are so impressed by the composure, collaboration, and coding skills our students displayed under pressure.
Great work, ethical hackers! ππ
