🌊 We’re Back!! 🌊
… from our much-needed summer hiatus! 😎 We know y’all missed us, so here are some exciting updates:
🌅 Over the summer, LiMPETS staff took advantage of the EXTREMELY low tides, participating in the California Academy of Sciences' Solstice Sea Star Search and Snapshot Cal Coast. iNaturalist.org🦭🪸🐟
🌟 The LiMPETS team also woke up EXTREMELY EARLY to help MARINe Scientists collect Long Term Monitoring data on the Northern California Coast, from Bodega Bay to Shelter Cove. 🦀🌿
🎉 During the 2023-24 school year, the LiMPETS network served 3,980 students from across California! One teacher shared, “LiMPETS provides the best combination of a fun, active outdoor field trip with a real science-based purpose. The prep materials educate and engage the students. It is always so fun to watch them have time together on the beach or at the tidepools.” 📋📊
🤩 We have some new faces across all our regions! Check our newsletter and website for their detailed bios. “Meet the Team” posts are coming soon!
📆 The 2024-25 School Year program registrations will be ready by the end of August. If you have any questions, please contact your regional coordinator.
