Rooftop Run

I'd like to thank Rooftop for 8 fantastic years of giving and living the Run, what amazing Rooftop Spirit! I am handing this precious gem of an event to a team of fabulous Rooftop parents that I know will love hosting this event as much as I have. Thank you for all the support Rooftop and may Kong live on!

As we part company until the school year begins anew Aug. 15th, I'd like to leave you with a though for the Run: Art is Expression! That being said, let's think about that and come up with some fantastic ways to get that idea across thru t-shirts, kid's art projects, and kids art on t-shirts for the 2011-12 Rooftop Run.. Oh yeah! Happy Summer everyone

I just wanted to the end the school year with the knowledge that we at Rooftop did it!! We raised $65,000 this year at the Great Mud Run of 2010.

Hello Rooftop!!!! I would like to let you all know that even on the rainiest day of the month we've made nearly 50K so far but our goal is still 60K so let's keep on bringing in the checks to reach our goal and thank you all so much for supporting our kids!

Yay!!!! We've got crappy weather shelters for the picnic and tarps to stake over the registration tables to keep them dry too. See we can all still go and have a muddy but relatively dry event! Woo hoo!!

Oh I forgot to mention, I'll bring a roll of garbage bags so e=we can poke holes in them and use them as rain ponchos. Hey, Miraloma, a K-5 pulled in 40K and it rained all over their parade. So let's keep it positive!

OK everyone let's not panic, if it rains on Sunday we can still have a great Run but maybe a muddy one! I think if we all bring tarps then we can keep our picnic items dry enough. But say it with me" it won't rain until after 2pm on Sunday, it won't rain til after 2pm on Sunday....
