Before a space mission can launch, someone has to propose it. M27 student Sattik Bhaumik is part of that early work.

After meeting a NASA Goddard scientist at an American Astronomical Society conference, Sattik joined NASA’s Cosmic Pathfinder Program and ASTRA Initiative, which led to an ongoing collaboration with NASA’s Astrophysics Division. He’s now the only undergraduate in a group connected to the Habitable Worlds Observatory, a future telescope built to study Earth-sized planets around Sun-like stars. He’s also helping the European Space Agency’s NewAthena Science Community build the tools and data standards researchers will use once that telescope launches.

Over six months, participants join live, discussion-based virtual sessions while continuing in their roles, applying what they learn directly to the challenges their teams face. The program closes with an in-person Leadership Accelerator, where the cohort works on real consulting challenges and meets senior leaders in a global city.

Yusuke Yamamoto, CEO of EnWorld Japan, leads a team of more than 25 nationalities after leadership roles at Google and Twitter. In the inaugural World Wise Executive Leadership cohort, he is giving structure to something he had been learning through trial and error: finding where a conflict actually sits, whether in how decisions get made, how feedback is given, or how trust is built.

He calls it diagnosing cultural distance, and it is now at the core of how he leads.

Arisa Tada leads Chromebook’s go-to-market in Japan at Google. She trained as a pharmacist, spent ten years in advertising, and now handles partnership negotiations with major retailers and device makers.

She first looked at MBA programs, then chose Minerva’s Master of Decision Making and Applied Analytics for its focus on the skill she believes AI cannot easily replace. With classes from Friday to Sunday, she brings each weekend’s learning into her work at Google the following week.
