We all order so much online, even more so with the pandemic!!!
I usually get brown paper packaging with my and here's a cool idea to reuse them.
I set them up as paper to do art and we are going to use them as gift wrapping paper!!
They do look a bit wrinkled but hey, I will take it !

πDiwali Greetings π
It was definitely a thing when I grew up to send Diwali wishes and greetings to everyone you know! And I might just want to bring back the tradition but with homemade cards βΊοΈ
Let's see how far we get with the card making π€
Getting fall ready, and what we started with was a fun and simple pumpkin π
Spread some paper, take your colors out and enjoy coloring your pumpkins! I started off by drawing one on the top and S quickly followed with her own versions some funny, some more Halloween themed.

Oil pastel & cooking oil painting
π§Ώ Oil pastel
π§Ώ Water Color paper
π§Ώ Cooking oil
π§Ώ Q tips
Take postcard size water color paper, draw your imagination and then add some textures and design with q tips dipped in cooking oil.
Remember to dip q tips just a little and then rub them over the oil pastel drawings!
Observe the fun shading, color variations as you rub oil.
Creating paper bags reusing printed papers and decorating them! Great activity for fine motor skills.
Keeps them busy with all the fancy decorations to add.

π Earth day activity! π
What better to celebrate earth day with an activity that uses all natural material. We grabbed a few things from the yard and created our very own tree π΄
It's amazing have an empty canvas can make kids creative. S ended up drawing a scene from early winter or late fall, where the trees have few leaves and it's just starting to snow.
We talked about fav seasons and what we love about them! π

β Geometric shape art β
Have you thought about art with shapes with various sizes?
We experimented it with various times of circles. Everything that's easily available at home. We mostly used a variety of lids, bottles, etc.
It was interesting to see how different folks come up with designs.. some overlapping, some designs like flowers etc..
We even colored these and the interesting part was how even art work is different!!
