I apologize for not posting more here and apologize for the bad news in which I must pass on today. Yesterday we lost a friend and Class of “81”angel, Cherise V. All I know is that she was struck by a vehicle while jogging. Lisa is flying down and I’ll have more info to include the service. Thoughts and prayers to everyone who knew her and especially her family. 💔💔💔

Rest In Peace Mr. Mancilla...🙏🙏🙏

Thoughts and prayers going out to Jesus Mancilla”81” and his family after the passing of his father earlier this week. The Goose is strong and loved but you can never have enough positive support after a tragedy like this. Please keep him in your prayers.❤️❤️❤️

This next June will be 40 years for our class of “81”. I’m putting it out there because I would love to see another reunion with those who have not been able to make any of our past ones. Think it’s time to start some planning. I can help from Oregon but will need some help. Chime in folks... I need to know what everyone’s thinking.

Good afternoon SE family. I got a message and special request to pass on. I will post below....

Hello. I'm a film archivist trying to help locate a family that made a 50s-era home movie of their life in San Francisco's Portola district (link below). Part of the film looks like it was shot at St. Elizabeth School, and includes a parade of girls in communion dresses walking with nuns and their parents. Wayland St. is visible and I feel almost sure it is the site of St. Elizabeth School and/or Church. While I realize the footage is old, I'm wondering if any of the alumni on your page might be able to help identify the family (I thought that perhaps multiple generations may have attended the school).

The film is here: https://archive.org/details/001033
The Communion footage starts around 04:00.

If you feel that you'd like to reply (though I would totally understand if you don't have time), you can fb message me or email me at [email protected]. Any information at all would be helpful. Thanks in advance for you time.

Best regards,
Caroline Rubens

How are we looking for September Class of “81”???

Photos from St. Elizabeth School's post 09/17/2017

Here are some pictures from our Class of "81" gathering 2017. Nice to meet all the spouses and significant others. Again... let's not wait another 4 years until we do this again.

OK Class of "81"... Saturday September 16, 2017 we are attempting another reunion. Everyone should have gotten a link on our 81 facebook reunion link but for those who may have not seen it or haven't gotten wind of it yet, we are trying to get a good head count. Dinner will be at Original Joe's at 6pm. Spouses are welcome we just need a good head count to reserve the room. Looking like we have at least 6 going so far. Please drop myself, Goose or Lisa T a note as soon as you are able to lock in the date. Some of us are coming from far away and we are all looking forward to seeing everyone and getting caught up.
