Professors Carrie Holschuh and Kathleen Shea presented at the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL) 2018 conference in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The poster presentation focused on their experience performing a successful proof-of-concept pilot expansion of simulation hours from 8% to 25% of the California State required pre-licensure nursing program clinical hours in Reproductive Health. The poster also provided step-by-step guidance on how to effectively expand an undergraduate simulation-based learning program.

For five days, SF State was the host to 130 nurses from 12 countries who were here to attend the 19th Biennial School Nurses International Conference. The goals of the July 24–28 meeting were to share best practice and research to help children to become healthy productive members of the global community.
