In partnership with VetCap, VetsInTech's capital education program, this event will connect veterans and military spouses with investors, lenders, and local business leaders to explore funding opportunities, learn about different sources of capital, and gain practical insights into building and financing a business.

Next week, VetsinTech and the Bay Area Council will bring together leaders from across defense, space, AI, cybersecurity, venture capital, government, and the veteran community for the NatSec + Space Innovation Summit in San Francisco.

Taking place October 8–9 during Fleet Week, the Summit will feature speakers and participants from the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force, Defense Innovation Unit, OpenAI, Google, Scale AI, Shield Capital, UC Berkeley, and more.

OpenAI Academy will also lead a hands-on ChatGPT workshop on Day 1, and attendees will receive three free months of ChatGPT Plus courtesy of OpenAI.

Two days focused on strengthening connections across government, industry, investment, and the veteran community around national security, emerging technology, and space innovation.

A quick reminder that the VetsinTech NatSec + Space Innovation Summit is coming up October 8–9 in San Francisco during Fleet Week. What a speaker lineup.

AWS Solutions Architect – Associate
Build practical cloud skills and prepare for the AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification, with hands-on labs, real-world tools, and instructor-led training.

CompTIA Security+ Bootcamp
A 5-day instructor-led cybersecurity program for those with or without prior IT experience, including CompTIA A+ and Network+ prep, live Security+ training, and a Security+ certification exam voucher.

Both programs are sponsored by CNP and are part of VetsinTech’s ongoing effort to help veterans and military spouses build the skills and credentials needed for careers in technology.
