Project Commotion

Project Commotion PC is a community space where children, families and educators are invited to learn and grow together through movement, sensory experiences, and play.

Project Commotion is a San Francisco-based non-profit organization welcoming ALL children between the ages of 0 months to 18 years, and their families. We strive in particular to support under-served families of children with special needs, as well as caretakers and educators, through the development of physical, sensory, and self-awareness.

We explored the foundation of Project Commotion—mission, vision, values—through meaningful stories and shared reflections. From understanding our personal journeys to connecting our strengths with our purpose, we left better equipped to thrive and support our students. ⛅️This summer, the Schools on the Move and Las Luciérnagas worlds are coming together! For the next 8 weeks, Teacher Jose is sharing exciting movement classes with our Luciérnagas students. Save the Date! Join us for Movement Moment on July 10th, a special monthly workshop hosted by Project Commotion designed for educators and caregivers. Experience the uplifting and transformative benefits of movement through activities focused on wellness, body awareness, and stress relief.

While the workshop is tailored for adults, childcare will be available—please request this at least 48 hours in advance.

A suggested donation of $15 is appreciated, but everyone is welcome—no one will be turned away. Come and share in the energy of community and movement!
