A closing tradition within the Pansy Day Ceremony has the eighth graders present a medallion or pin to a member of the seventh grade class to share good wishes for their upcoming final year at Burke’s.

💛💚 As the Class of 2026 made their way through the Pansy Day recessional, they were showered with pansies by younger siblings and Burke's alumnae. This beloved tradition reminds us that being part of the Burke’s community is a lifelong bond, one rooted in friendship, support, and the shared experiences that connect past, present, and future.

We had a full morning before Pansy Day! The annual Lower School Stepping Up assembly, a second grade publishing party, and lots of yearbook signing! We'll see you next year, Lower School! 💛 💚

From cows on strike to a tiger discovering his wild side and one very determined little red hen, our Kindergarteners absolutely stole the show last week.

K Red brought Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type to life, K Yellow went wonderfully wild with Mr. Tiger Goes Wild, and K Blue shared the timeless teamwork tale of The Little Red Hen. Each class adapted their beloved storybook into a short play full of creativity, confidence, laughter, and heart. We are so proud of these young performers and the joy they brought to the stage!

Drumroll please! The yearbook dedication went to Upper School P.E. Teacher and 6th Grade Advisor, Ms. Underwood, and Upper School Secondary Counselor, Ms. Dinapoli!

Our eighth graders turned conversations with Kindergarten buddies into one-of-a-kind mini-books. A beautiful full-circle moment connecting students just beginning their journey at Burke’s with those preparing for their next adventure.
