Rachel Grant Coaching LLC I work with survivors of childhood sexual abuse. I help you break free from the pain of sexual abuse

I work with survivors of childhood sexual abuse who are beyond sick and tired of feeling broken, unfixable, and burdened by the past. I help them let go of of the pain of abuse and finally feel normal. Have you reached the point where you are no longer satisfied with just surviving your life, but are instead ready to live a powerful, authentic life free from the burdens of the past and pain that results from sexual abuse? Is it no longer enough to just understand the connections between the abuse and your current behavior and instead you are ready to answer the one critical question that has not being answered by any of the books, therapists, or friends: “So, what do I do about it?!”

Beyond Surviving™ is my answer to that question. It is the culmination of everything I have learned along the way either by experience or through completing my master’s in counseling psychology that led to my own healing. I know what it is like to spend years trying to heal and the frustration that comes when it seems nothing you are doing is helping. If you have tried everything and just haven’t been able to heal, then I will help you break free from the pain of abuse, move on with your life, and be the person you were meant to be. Through participating in the BEYOND SURVIVING program, you will:

- Train in techniques for identifying the lies that abuse taught you about yourself
- Learn strategies for breaking free of patterns of thought or behavior
- Let go of shame, guilt, and believing the abuse was your fault
- Release your anger, loneliness, and fear of abandonment
- Develop strong communication skills
- Learn how to trust again and enjoy intimate relationships

Two trauma-informed coaches. Real conversations about healing, life, and what it actually takes to thrive.

This week, we’re going to be talking about the recent sexual assault of a woman at Cornell and the larger conversation around sexual assault on college campuses.

We’ll talk about what we’re seeing, what these stories bring up for survivors, the ways campus sexual assault gets talked about (and sometimes NOT talked about), and what we think needs to change.

As always, this isn’t a webinar. There’s no big presentation or perfectly scripted conversation. It’s 30 minutes of real, organic conversation between two trauma-informed coaches, and we’d love to have you join us.

Bring a question, a thought, or something you’ve been wrestling with. Or just come listen.

Monday, October 12 • 4:15p PT / 7:15p ET
30 minutes • Live on Zoom

No registration. Just show up!

Content note: This conversation will include discussion of sexual assault.

Come join us. We’d love to see you there.

Sometimes we know we want to break the silence.

We may even know exactly who we want to talk to.

But knowing you want to talk and actually feeling ready to talk are two very different things.

One of the things we'll explore in my upcoming masterclass, Breaking the Silence Like a Badass, is how to prepare for these conversations in a way that doesn't require you to simply throw yourself into the deep end and hope for the best.

Because breaking the silence isn't about forcing yourself to tell your story before you're ready.

It's about learning how to know what you need, prepare for what might happen, and stay connected to yourself as you speak your truth.

So tell me - what's your answer?

And if you're ready to learn more about having these conversations, I'll be teaching the full process in Breaking the Silence Like a Badass, my free live masterclass on October 22.

You don't have to be perfectly healed before you're allowed to talk about what happened. But there is a difference between being not healed enough and needing support and preparation.

I was recently interviewed by Michael for the Stronger Together podcast, and we had a really honest conversation about healing, resilience, trauma, shame, relationships, boundaries, and what it actually means to move beyond simply surviving.

The episode was originally scheduled to be released in November, but given the recent events at Cornell University, Michael decided to release it today instead.

While the Cornell situation was not part of our interview, I was asked to share a statement about what has been happening. And honestly, this story has me riled and heartbroken.

I'm maddened by the kitschy "Cornell 7" moniker as if they are a boy band. I'm sickened by the number of men who stood idly by. I'm in tears as more and more women post, "I AM Jane Doe" - this feels like 2.0.

And I am just wondering, "When will it ever end?"

At the same time, there are powerful conversations happening that need to be had, and I do see men in a variety of spaces stepping up.

So while this story is really stretching my "ever the optimist" outlook on life, I cling to it still.

I continue to believe that we will resist, we will rise, and we will evolve.

In solidarity and with love.
