For my local SF clients, this is good to know, from Recology, our trash management company:
“There is still a lot of confusion about where plastic bags belong. Please let everyone.. know that plastic bags, plastic film and all soft plastic materials are no longer recyclable in Recology’s curbside collection program.”
Even if the plastic bag has a recycling symbol on it, you should not put it in your blue Recology recycling bin.
