Emzini weCode, now in its 6th year, is offering a FREE, intensive, college-level “Introduction to Programming and Computer Science” online course (CS 7) for citizens of Sub-Saharan Africa. This course emphasizes abstraction as a core principle, empowering you to think like a programmer and tackle problems effectively.

More than just learning a language, this course focuses on fundamental programming concepts such as functional programming, data abstraction, and object-oriented programming, all while developing strong computational thinking skills. While the course utilizes Python, the goal is to teach you the essence of programming, making learning new languages in the future significantly easier.
