Immersive Exhibition ✅

Students showed off their work from the last three weeks, and with that, the 2025-26 school year has come to a close at Bay!

One of Bay's longstanding Immersives "Water in the West" meets at the intersection of science and humanities to investigate the essential question of "whose water is it?" and explore the many ways humans rely on water.

The class is based at the Sierra Nevada Aquatic Research Lab (SNARL), where the students live and explore the area, meeting local stakeholders to get as many perspectives as possible.

And they're off! ✈️

For the first time ever, Bay is going international, as one of our newest Immersives is taking students to Guatemala for two weeks of community engagement and cultural immersion!

Bay recently partnered with several local Japanese American organizations to host a community event as part of the continued work to tell the story of and transform Room 201. Along with tours of Room 201 and the 4th-floor radio room and origami folding, the program included a performance by SF Taiko Dojo, a purification ceremony, and a Calling of Names.
