Many Sundays, while walking my dog at Richmond Marina Bay Trail I have seen some seniors engaged in painting what they see in the landscape. Today, I could not hold myself but admire their engagement and after chatting with them found out that they were learning painting from Betsy Kendall. WOW! What a remarkable feat. Learning a new skill at this age is one thing, and working on something that will freeze the beauty of nature in time in such a creative endeavor is another !

I was wondering that the times are always changing the landscapes. Someday in future, when we will see these paintings, we will see the beauty of this land as it exists today. Thanks for freezing these moments in time in such a beautiful way, Betsy !

Met Dr Michio Kaku at FUTURE OF EDUCATION conference organized by Course Hero in Foster City, Ca in summer of 2019. Heard him speak on his famous book, Future of Humanity which covered great insights into how the education will change with advances in technology and how more and more non traditional modes of learning will evolve.
