WLES is under attack again, this time at Bessie Carmichael! Just like Longfellow's experience last year, the Educational Placement Center (EPC) is trying to combine their 4th and 5th grade Filipino WLES classrooms for the 2023-2024 school year. Parents and community at Bessie are organizing, and we are alongside with them!

SFUSD and its Educational Placement Center have refused to work with the Longfellow school community to address our enrollment concerns! They have turned students away, and damaged the trust of families. Call them out! Voice our anger! Fight for our children, Fight for WLES!
