Do you have a passion for legal ethics? The is hiring a Senior Program Analyst to join our Office of Professional Competence — the team behind the Ethics Hotline, ethics education, and resources that help California attorneys practice law with integrity.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of research, writing, and public service. You'll field real questions from attorneys navigating complex issues — conflicts of interest, confidentiality, unauthorized practice of law — and help shape the guidance resources attorneys across California rely on.

What you'll do:
→ Staff the Ethics Hotline, providing research assistance to attorneys on professional responsibility issues
→ Draft legal memos, advisory opinions, and educational materials
→ Analyze legislation, case law, and ethics authorities
→ Support the Lawyer Referral Service program and key ethics committees

What we're looking for:
→ 3+ years of professional experience in research, analysis, or legal environments
→ Strong writing skills and effective communication
→ JD, paralegal certification, or coursework in attorney professional responsibility preferred — not required

Salary: $104,308 – $139,079 | SF or LA | Hybrid (once/month in office)
