On the anniversary of my birthdate, I find myself filled with GRATITUDE for the many BLESSINGS of life. As humans our main purpose is to RAISE OUR CONSCIOUSNESS to LOVE, JOY, PEACE and BE ENLIGHTENED. Let your inner light shine brilliantly. Meld into the ONENESS with ALL THAT IS. Our Individual consciousness is our most powerful tool to impact all of Human Consciousness. Do what only you can do. "Awaken and Empower yourSelf".
Namaste

On Saturday January 20 2018, I stepped out of my comfort zone and attended a 2nd annual Women's March in Southern California. It will not be my last! It was awesome and inspiring. In the past, I had never participated in a march, a protest nor a political rally. Women throughout the world have awakened and are empowered. They are leading us through a shift in consciousness from Me to We. We are transitioning from a ego-based male dominant world order primarily motivated by fear, anger, hate and exclusion to a world of HONESTY, INTEGRITY, LOVE, COMPASSION, and PEACE. There will be EQUAL RIGHTS for ALL HUMANS regardless of their s*x, race, religion or ethnic background. All humanity will HONOR EACH OTHER by "Doing unto others as you would have them do unto you". Humans will use their FREEDOM of CHOICE to create the life of their dreams. Decisions will be determined based on how can everyone be a winner. We must learn to TRUST our INTUITION, our inner knowingness, and DO THE RIGHT THING simply because it is the RIGHT THING TO DO. I invite you to read my book MeNoPause Awaken and Empower yourSelf and be an active part of this greatest shift in consciousness in the history of humanity. Be yourSelf. Namaste.

Christmas shopping? Stressed? How about the gift that can keep on giving for years to come.

Give yourself the gift of the present moment this Christmas
This past Monday night when my six-year-old grandson in grade one was asked "What did you learn at school today?" He answered "Mindfulness". When asked to expand his understanding of mindfulness, he indicated that sometimes we have things happen that make us feel bad. Mindfulness is first knowing you are feeling bad, then taking some deep breaths and relax. You then count until you choose to change that bad feeling into a positive feeling. His count that morning was 4.Ah, the wisdom of a child The next time you're feeling bad, take a few deep breaths and relax. Count out YOUR number. How long does it take for you to use your FREEDOM of CHOICE to change your negative feelings into POSITIVE ones. PRACTICE MINDFULNESS. Choose not to stay negative. Deliberately choose to BE POSITIVE. Learn from your children/ grandchildren. LIVE DELIBERATELY!

LONG TERM BREAST CANCER RISK and MENOPAUSAL HORMONES?
LONG TERM ESTROGEN ALONE is NOT associated with a clinically significant risk of breast cancer (i.e. the risk is less than 1 in 1000 women per year). In contrast, when synthetic PROGESTIN is added to estrogen, the long term risk of breast cancer DOUBLES with 5 to 10 years of PROGESTIN use and TRIPLES with more than 10 years of the PROGESTIN use. The French Teachers study which is the only study to investitgate the impact of NATURAL PROGESTERONE, finds NO increased risk of breast cancer; however, longer follow-up is needed.
LONG TERM studies including the WHI Observational Studies, the Harvard's Nurses Health Study, the British Million Women Study and other European studies confirm that it is the SYNTHETIC PROGESTIN that is associated with the INCREASED BREAST CANCER RISK with menopausal hormone use, and NOT ESTROGEN.

Western medical research must re-evaluate the roles of estrogen, progesterone and synthetic progestin in breast cancer risk.

Both of the Women's Health Initiative (WHI) postmenopausal hormone clinical trials (Western medicine's ultimate double-blind placebo-controlled studies) were PREMATURELY TERMINATED BY 2 DIFFERENT RESEARCH GROUPS FOR VERY DIFFERENT REASONS.
In 2002, the DSBM (Data and Safety Monitoring Board) recommended that the WHI 2 hormone study (estrogen plus PROGESTIN) be PREMATURELY TERMINATED because of an INCREASED RISK of BREAST CANCER. They NEVER recommended the termination of the WHI estrogen only trial for safety reasons. However, in 2004 the National Institute of Health, which funds most research in the United States, PREMATURELY TERMINATED the WHI Premarin (estrogen only) trial, 1 year prior to its natural completion, when the DECEASED RISK of BREAST CANCER was 1/100th of a point away from achieving statistical significance (P = 0.05, Western medical research's ultimate goal). If this double-blind placebo-controlled trial study had shown that estrogen was associated with a STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT DECREASED RISK of breast cancer, the NIH would have had to do a lot of explaining to Western medical researchers, menopausal women and their physicians.
