We're looking for kids 7-11 who haven't yet found a great camp for the summer. Does building with hand tools sound like an exciting, relevant experience? Try our half-day camps created to teach you how to build using simple and easy hand tools. Only 6 campers in the woodshop bus studio each camp. A great experience for friends to do together. Hi to all my woodshop bus parents and students. If you didn't get a notice about Holiday/vacation camps it's because there wasn't one. Sorry I'm so late to let you know that the Woodshop Bus needs some R & R but will back on the road quickly in the new year of 2022. Keep sanding with the grain and I'll let you know when summer camps will register. Have a couple awesome projects in store. S.Dawson☺️

Woodworking teacher is seeking "Crazy for hand tools, no knots sugar pine, and sweeping up sawdust" kids. 2nd-6th graders, no experience necessary. Spring break 4 day camp March 29-April 1. Clairemont area site. See Project Photos page for ideas and Class/Camp registration info.

Whoohoo and Yippee! I will not hold back my joy at being accepted yesterday by the San Diego Girl Scouts Association as one of their community partners. This means a direct line to the many local scout troops that want to earn achievement badges in woodworking. Hoping to open the door to the wonderful world of sawdust and hand tools to thousands of San Diego girls through this opportunity. They will come, they will saw, they will conquer.
