Would one concealed-carry permit ever work across all 50 states? And if so, who would issue it, what training would it require, and which laws would apply after crossing state lines?

This carousel breaks down the major possibilities:

• National reciprocity for state-issued permits
• A hypothetical federal concealed-carry license
• Congressional action and proposed legislation
• The Supreme Court’s potential role
• State-specific restrictions that could remain
• What a standardized training and qualification model might include
• How national reciprocity could affect Illinois CCL holders

National recognition would not automatically create one uniform set of firearm laws. Permit recognition, prohibited locations, transportation rules, use-of-force standards, and other restrictions could still vary by state.

Swipe through, save this series for reference, and share it with a responsible gun owner.

Which approach makes the most sense to you: national reciprocity, a federal permit, or another solution? Let’s discuss it respectfully in the comments.

It sucks that this even has to be a conversation—especially when we’re talking about our children going back to school.

School should be a place for learning, friendships, growth, and opportunity. Parents shouldn’t have to wonder whether their child knows what to do if the unthinkable happens. Teachers shouldn’t have to prepare for it. Students shouldn’t have to think about it.

But ignoring the possibility doesn’t make anyone safer.

As another school year begins, take a few minutes to talk with your children about emergency preparedness in a way that’s appropriate for their age. Remind them to listen to their teachers and school officials, know their surroundings, and understand the basic principles of Run. Hide. Fight.

The goal isn’t to create fear. It’s to replace uncertainty with awareness and preparation.

We sincerely hope this is information your family will never have to use. But until conversations like this are no longer necessary, we believe knowledge matters.

Share this with a parent, teacher, student, or school community that may benefit.

Be aware. Be prepared. Be a leader.

Since September 11, 2024, there have been AT LEAST 10+ hangings of Black Americans that have brought national awareness—all of which local authorities have written off as being self-inflicted (self-unaliving).

One thing’s for sure and two things for certain…

BLACK PEOPLE DO NOT HANG THEMSELVES!

As a community, we are not angry enough.
As a community, we are clearly not prepared enough.

Preventative measures need to be taken IMMEDIATELY.

If possible, do not travel alone, especially in predominantly white spaces or neighborhoods. Be aware of your surroundings. Stay connected with the people you trust. Make sure somebody knows where you are and where you’re going.

It’s also time to start taking self-defense measures seriously—including purchasing a firearm and REALLY training with it. Owning one without knowing how to properly and responsibly use it is not enough.

This current administration has made the worst of society feel like it’s okay to reveal themselves and act accordingly with little to no consequence.

THIS GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PROTECT YOU.

YOUR LOCAL AUTHORITIES CLEARLY WILL NOT PROTECT YOU.

IT IS SOLELY ON US TO PROTECT OURSELVES AND THOSE WE LOVE.

Stay aware. Stay prepared. Protect yourself. Protect your family. Protect your community.

PREPARE FOR THE WORST AND PRAY FOR THE BEST.

God bless! 🙏🏾

🇺🇸 250 Years of America. One Nation. One Legacy. 🇺🇸

For 250 years, America has been shaped by the courage, sacrifice, and determination of those who came before us. This Independence Day, we honor the men and women who fought to secure our freedoms and those who continue to defend them today.

As we celebrate with family, friends, and fireworks, let’s also remember the responsibilities that come with liberty—to protect our rights, strengthen our communities, and pass those freedoms on to the next generation.

From all of us at Leaders of the New Pew, we wish you and your family a safe, blessed, and Happy 4th of July!

🇺🇸 God Bless America. Land of the Free because of the Brave.

🌴 How long would you wait for help if every second counted?

Publicly available data shows that San Diego’s Priority 1 emergency response times generally average around 6–8 minutes under normal conditions. While that’s among the better response times for major U.S. cities, emergencies can unfold in seconds—not minutes.

Traffic, staffing levels, call volume, and simultaneous incidents can all affect how quickly first responders arrive.

This post isn’t about creating fear or criticizing law enforcement. It’s about understanding reality and taking responsibility for your own preparedness.

Situational awareness, a family emergency plan, and practical safety measures can make a difference while help is on the way.

Remember: Even a 6-minute response is 360 seconds—and a lot can happen in that time.

🤠 If an emergency happened today, how long would you wait for help?

Publicly available data shows that Austin’s Priority 1 emergency response times generally average between 6–8 minutes. While that’s comparable to many major cities, those minutes can feel much longer during a violent encounter.

Response times are influenced by traffic, officer availability, staffing levels, and call volume. Even under ideal conditions, help isn’t instantaneous.

This post isn’t about criticizing law enforcement—it’s about understanding reality and being prepared. Situational awareness, emergency planning, and knowing your surroundings can make a difference while waiting for first responders.

Remember: Even a 6-minute response is 360 seconds.

Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, and father figures who lead with strength, wisdom, and love.

A father’s influence extends far beyond today—it shapes families, builds communities, and leaves a legacy for generations to come.

To every man striving to lead, protect, provide, and inspire: thank you. Your presence matters, your sacrifices matter, and your impact is greater than you know.

💙 Happy Father’s Day from Leaders of the New Pew.

🌵 How long would you wait for help in an emergency?

Phoenix continues to grow rapidly, and with that growth comes increased demand on emergency services. Publicly available data suggests Priority 1 emergency response times generally average between 6–8 minutes, but call volume, staffing levels, traffic, and major incidents can all impact how quickly officers arrive.

This isn’t about creating fear—it’s about understanding reality.

When a violent encounter occurs, the outcome is often determined long before the first patrol car arrives. That’s why situational awareness, preparation, and having a plan matter.

Even a 6-minute response means 360 seconds.

Ask yourself: If help was 6–8 minutes away, what would you do?
