Our Team 5474 robot, Flex, is amazing. Flex collects balls, shoots balls, and can do a 1 arm pull up, in addition to driving around the course in style! In the autonomous mode, Flex can shoot and score and then return to the terminal to reload!

Gearing up for Qualification matches at Rapid React FIRST Robotics Competition 2022!

Things are starting off well! The team created the field elements out of PVC so that we can test our robot once it is finished and made a prototype of a shooter to push the balls into the lower scoring goal. The software team is programing the pneumatics which has some twists and turns because the 2022 update broke some things.

CLAIREMONSTER FLL NEWS 🤖🦾

Marston hosted another practice FLL tournament the last week of October. Approximately 20 CHS students showed up to help judge the tournament, most are either part of the Clairemonsters FRC team and/or formerly part of the Clairemonsters FLL team. Two of Marston’s teams competed today at a FLL Qualifying Tournament at Mission Bay High School. One of those teams won a first place trophy for Robot Design and are moving on to the So. Cal. Championships! I’m super proud of all of my kids, from the 6th graders to the seniors. They never cease to amaze me!

Marston's FLL Clairemonster Robotics team brought home another trophy today at their Qualifying Tournament! The Core Value Award highlights their teamwork, professionalism, and dedication to FLL! The team was made up of seven 8th grade girls, some of which have been in the Clairemonster Robotics family since 3rd grade! What a great way to end a long career in FLL! Clairemonster FRC here they come!

We will break into 3 zoom rooms for 15 min where each group will go over aspects of the game they are assigned. We will then come back together and each team will pitch their game to the rest of us. Once all teams have pitched the different games we will vote on which one we are going to do. The 3 options for this year are Game Design Challenge, Infinite Recharge at Home, and FIRST Innovation Challenge.
