The water work is a movement discipline like yoga or dance or martial arts....it is a lifetime practice....it is the window to our own soul...as we refine our movement and way of being we refine and redefine our life. This work is more than just a class or job.

That is why a foundation in the water is so important. We need to move from a structured secure place of freedom to be safe in our own body and being to be able keep the receiver safe as well. AQUATHERICSsm teaches that foundation. That foundation allows deeper awareness and connection to oneself and to others.

The water is an amazing place for fitness, stress release or rehabilitation. I teach professional applications of aquatic bodywork and maintain a private practice addressing various medical conditions. The water makes a huge difference in the quality of their lives. Advanced training is critical because it takes a much higher awareness and skill level in the water than on land. Gravity is not integrating the body so the alignment of both the giver and the receiver is crucial to the safety and the productivity of the session. In addition the energy moves so much faster in the water you have to be ready to follow the body and its inherent wisdom and keep your strategy from getting in the way of progress.
