IT’S SHAKESPEARE TIME! 📖🌎
For the next session (May 11th - July 2nd), we will be going full Shakespeare-mode for our Chekhov class at MCIAT! 🪶
If you’ve always wanted to try out some Shakespeare, this is the perfect time to explore this text with our in-house MCIAT Shakespeare expert Liz Shipman ⭐️
Liz was Co-Founder/Artistic Director for the Kings County Shakespeare Company (KCSC) in NYC from 1983-2001, where she was involved in over 50 productions, and has directed at The Old Globe, Utah Shakespearean Festival, and more! 🎭
Using a variety of text-based exercises and games over the 8 weeks, the goal is to develop text from a Shakespeare monologue that feels fully accessible to both you and the audience you may perform it to ✨
