Introducing the fabulous fourth grade team: Ms. Uribe and Mrs. Jacobson!
🍎 Ms. Uribe is an enthusiastic educator with a solid background in elementary education. A San Diego native, she graduated from San Diego State University in 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies, followed by earning her teaching credential. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Educational Literacy.Ms. Uribe brings a wealth of experience working with students ranging from preschool through high school. She is deeply committed to creating an inclusive and dynamic classroom environment where every student can thrive. Outside of school, she enjoys reading and spending quality time with her two cats. She also stays active by coaching cheerleading, which allows her to engage with students in a different and exciting way.
🍎 Mrs. Jacobson is a Nor Cal native, but moved to San Diego in 2024 with her husband. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and a Masters degree in Education: Equity & Social Justice. She has experience working with students from Kindergarten through high school in a variety of educational settings. With a background in experiential learning, Ms. Jacobson strives to engage her students through hands-on activities and movement based activities. When she is not in the classroom, she enjoys spending time outside (preferably where there is no cell service), going to local coffee shops, and running. Some of her favorite places include Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, and Joshua Tree!
