Founded in 2007, Whole Note Music Therapy is dedicated to providing meaningful music lessons and therapeutic experiences to clients from every walk of life. Whole Note uses research-based musical and instructional techniques to facilitate comprehensive lessons and therapeutic experiences. We understand that each client is a unique individual with his or her own distinct musical preferences and specific needs. Hmm... Today was a bit of a challenge. I burned the four fingers on my left hand this morning whilst removing breakfast from the oven. Burned fingers make playing guitar for sessions less pleasant than usual... But it sure was fun going down a nostalgic road and rocking out to summertime Oldies with my groups today!

Having an amazing time in Thailand! Listened to monks chanting as part of a wedding ceremony yesterday, and it was beautiful! I Loved the overtones produced by the combination of their unison voices!

Developed by my Professor, Dr. Jayne Standley, at FSU. I learned about PAL in-depth when I did my NICU music therapy certification, and I'm so happy that it's now available to the public!

The innovative PAL device uses musical lullabies to help infants quickly learn the muscle movements needed to suck, and ultimately feed.

I'm so proud to be an FSU Alum. Constantly blown away by the ongoing success of my colleagues and alma mater!

So honored to have been asked to sing at a friend's wedding earlier this month! The couple picked the song, which was special to them, then stood on either side of me a bit teary eyed as I sang... it was tough to hold it together! But I was happy to do my best for them!
