This evening, we celebrate an extraordinary milestone for the University of San Diego Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science.
Dean Jane M. Georges, PhD, RN, FAAN, was formally inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN) at the 2025 Induction Ceremony in Washington, DC, one of the highest honors in the nursing profession.
The Academy recognizes nurse leaders who have made lasting contributions to health policy, education, research, and clinical practice. Dean Georges has dedicated her career to advancing health equity, empowering advanced practice nurses, and shaping the future of graduate nursing education.
Among the highlights of the evening was Dean Georges receiving the FAAN honor from Dr. Debra J. Barksdale, President of the American Academy of Nursing.
Please join us in congratulating Dean Georges on this remarkable achievement and the legacy of leadership she continues to build.
