Drawn2Art (formerly KidsArt) teaches quality, fine art drawing & painting classes to students ages 4 to adult. Call today for a Free Introductory Class!

Drawn2Art provides a place of inspiration not only for its students but also for its staff. This company has enhanced the lives of countless artists employed by it (as well as taught by it), over the more than three decades it has been offering quality art instruction. Drawn2Art first and foremost is about a passion for carrying on the traditions of the Masters. Its curriculum, programs, relationships, teachings, and motivation are all based on keeping artistic fundamentals, principles, and techniques alive and thriving.

Drawn2Art teaches students realistic drawing and painting. Curriculum is varied to include teaching still-life, the figure, landscape, portraiture, cartooning, animation, clay sculpture and more. This high quality fine art program offers art instruction that goes far beyond cut and paste, and arts & crafts. It teaches a student how to "see" in a new way and offers basic understanding of how to draw and paint. Realistic drawing and painting skills help strengthen confidence, which in turn lessens frustration. Drawn2Art drawing and painting instruction helps students avoid continual dissatisfaction with their artistic abilities, so that they will not eventually give up pursuing art as a viable interest. Drawing and painting are learned subjects, just like any other.

Mission: 1. To teach a quality program from which students enjoy learning the skills necessary to draw and paint realistically, progressing step-by-step at their level of ability, to become more competent and skilled at every level of the Drawn2Art program. 2. To provide a warm and friendly environment in which inspirational teachers excel at helping, encouraging, and challenging each student to reach his or her individual, artistic potential. 3. To provide service that is helpful, cheerful, and caring; creating a comfortable atmosphere that puts our families at ease. 4. To disseminate art education broadly in order to strengthen problem-solving, critical thinking, and cultural awareness that benefits individuals and society.

General information

Drawn2Art (formerly KidsArt) started in 1986 as an idea. Founders, Ed, and Sher Warren combined their talents to start one art school. The demand for their classes was so great, within five years they had opened five art schools all over Los Angeles to accommodate the geographical locations of their students. It became apparent that there was a total lack of fine art instruction available for children and teens, and so, Ed Warren developed a curriculum and program that now teach over four thousand students every week, in southern and northern California, the state of Washington, and soon to open in Portland, Oregon. The idea blossomed into a tremendous reality that has inspired countless students and staff over all the years and will continue to do so for many decades to come.
