On April 23rd ALI welcomed honors and college prep students from the Christian Unified Schools of San Diego to the PLNU Balboa Surgical Anatomy Lab 🥼🩻

The students were hyped to explore real anatomical sciences and deepen their understanding of human anatomy.

Activities included four stations, 10 minutes each covering cardiovascular 🫀, gastrointestinal, neurology 🧠 and musculoskeletal areas of the body. They also had the opportunity to suture on Bananas! 🍌🩺

We love partnering with local schools to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals!

AAA 2026 session topic/trends 🧠 🤖

This week, our students and faculty have been engaging with sessions at the Anatomy Connected Conference that highlight how anatomy education is continuing to evolve. We are seeing trends emerging in AI integration in learning and assessments as well as creating stronger paths for students engagement and success.

✔️One theme stood out: innovation in education isn’t just about new tools, it’s about how they’re being used to support how students think, learn, and engage with complex material/technology.

Grateful to learn from and connect with those shaping the future of Anatomy. Which topic stood out to you? 👇
