🔨🌱 Investing in the Next Generation of Builders 🌱🔨
AGC Apprenticeship Trust is proud to host 16 motivated students from Cajon Valley Union School District’s Bostonia Global High School in World of Work’s Pre-Apprenticeship Program in partnership with WorkforceConnect.
Over the course of this hands-on experience, students are:
🛠️ Building custom potting benches from start to finish
📐 Learning jobsite expectations and trade fundamentals
⚡ Exploring introductory electrical skills
📋 Gaining exposure to project management concepts
Three returning students from last year’s cohort are advancing their skills and stepping into leadership roles — a true example of career pathway progression.
Most importantly, these students are experiencing what makes the trades so powerful:
✔️ Real tools
✔️ Real projects
✔️ Real mentorship
✔️ Real paychecks
They’re not just learning about construction — they’re working in it.
We’re proud to support programs that prepare young people for meaningful careers in the skilled trades and strengthen our industry’s future workforce.
Stay tuned to see the finished potting benches at the end of the program!

It is with heavy hearts that the AGC Apprenticeship shares the heartbreaking news of the passing of one of our valued apprentices, Dylan Clark, who was employed by Lusardi Construction Company.
Dylan was more than a dedicated apprentice—he was a bright and generous spirit whose presence left a lasting mark on everyone he encountered. His work ethic, humility, and kindness made him a standout member of our apprenticeship program, and a true reflection of the values we hold dear at AGC. Whether on the jobsite or in the classroom, Dylan led with heart, humor, and a sincere commitment to learning and growing in the construction trade.
He will be deeply missed by all of us at AGC and by his colleagues at Lusardi Construction, where he made meaningful contributions and formed lasting bonds.
Dylan is survived by his two beloved daughters, who were the center of his life. Our hearts go out to them, his family, and all who knew and loved him. We extend our deepest condolences and stand with them during this time of profound loss.
A GoFundMe has been created by a family friend to help support Dylan’s daughters. If you would like to contribute, you can do so here:
