Alumni Spotlight! 🔦⭐️
Mrs. Chan 🍎

“I am a special education teacher in a self-contained autism program at Patterson Mill Middle/High School, and I am in my seventh year of teaching. When reflecting on how my education program prepared me, the SFU education program helped prepare me to think creatively and how to differentiate instruction to meet individual needs. Advice for current SFU education majors, lesson plans are important, but building rapport with students and parents is crucial.”

🫣 You may feel like you have to know everything, but being a teacher means being a life long learner! We learn by doing, trial and error, and sometimes mistakes. JK teachers NEVER make mistakes 😂🤪
