Creative Dance Theatre

Creative Dance Theatre CDT offers dance classes of all styles for children and teens in San Diego. Creative Dance Theatre was founded in 1958 by Polish immigrant Helen Hithersay.

Through name changes and location changes, studio ownership has always been passed down from teacher to student. Our current owner Erika Madero took over the studio from her teacher Laura Roach in Jan. 2021. We believe that dance is a living art. We provide an intentional environment where children can be comfortable to express themselves and communicate their emotions through movement and dance. Our students develop self-confidence, dance technique, self-awareness, leadership qualities, and coordination while having fun and feeling successful. Purchases here directly support the studio while keeping prices as fair as possible. Most apparel comes in several colors, and we’re proud to feature custom designs created by one of our very own dancers, senior Abby Webb!

There are options in sizes toddler-adult.

Orders are fulfilled and shipped directly by a third-party partner, so inventory may occasionally vary based on supplier availability.
