PRE & POSTNATAL CERTIFIED 🥳💖🤰🏼
I shared with my close friends a couple of months ago that I am officially Pre & Postnatal Certified but never shared it publicly.
This is something that I wanted to do ever since I knew I wanted to get pregnant and the misinformation on training during pregnancy is sooooo conflicting.
I started this certification the minute I found out I was pregnant.
I got about 1/4th of the way through the certification and pregnancy and life took a hold of me so, fast forward ⏩
I started over in January 2023, and was certified in 6 months.
Being pregnant/a mom in the fitness space can be very overwhelming. There is so much misinformation and conflicting information on the Internet that I wanted to be able to shed some light on women in training during their pregnancy and in the postpartum stage.
Many doctors/OBGYN have no training on how to educate a women on safe strength training and even how to educate clients about safe pelvic floor training during and in the postpartum stage.
Currently, I am working with 4 pregnant clients and many in the postpartum/mom stage and I hope to work with many more through out my career.
Being pregnant and a mom DOES not mean you need to neglect yourself to take care of everyone else. You deserve to feel your best too.
