One of the most challenging part when starting meditation is to meditate on a daily basis. Although we know of the benefits of meditation, it is still difficult to stop and hit the ‘PAUSE‘ button. The main causes are our restlessness and anxiety. We aren’t used to stop. Always on the go.

In this week’s video, I share 7 tips to overcome this challenge. It is very common to struggle with being consistent but it is one of the most important habits you can ever make.

One day, a Zen Buddhist nun told me: “If you are going to run a marathon, are you training the day of? No of course. You will train months beforehand so the day of the race, you will be ready. The same applies to meditation.“

Connecting with our challenges and the desire to find a way out can be a great source of inspiration for our practice.
Practicing meditation daily has never been a straight line for anybody but I hope this week’s video will support your practice.

Often we can feel overwhelmed by what is happening in our mind. At times, we can feel that we can not stop the thoughts from coming. Learning how to concentrate in meditation allows the thoughts in our mind to settle down, just like the snowflakes in a snow globe when we let it rest on a table.

But it is not easy at first because our mind isn't used to settle. In this week's video, I share 5 ways to develop concentration.

The first benefit of concentration is that we can regroup our attention instead of being pulled in all directions by our mind. So in times of stress and anxiety, we can feel solid and grounded. This is the foundation for emotional resilience. We can calm our thoughts and emotions.

And then, when we have concentration, we have clarity. Clarity about our experience. And from there, we can gain insights about the causes of our suffering and find a way out.

Developing concentration is essential to find the path to freedom and inner peace. Hope you enjoy this week's video.

Those guided meditation are like the how to's videos except that you get to practice at the same time as you learn to meditate.

I just wanted to offer something different and see if that resonates with you. Learning about meditation great but practicing is even more important because it is through the practice that we can transform our experience.

So let me know what you think of if, there are more guided meditations coming your way with a different technique each time.

Please enjoy and keep in touch!
