Wow—what an incredible outcome! RPE earned $350 in bonus donations in the Regal Wicked for Good Challenge. We placed 2nd overall, and our board member, Claire Carrasquillo, won 1st place in the team category—for an additional $250 bonus. This happened because so many of you jumped in or spread the word. Thank you!

During this season of gratitude, we want to share our appreciation for every member of our Rolando Park community. We are proud to make all of our activities free for all students because of the many hands that volunteer and supporters who participate in dine-outs and fundraisers when they can.

We all have times when we can’t give time or funds—and that’s okay. Every student, family, teacher and supporter is a meaningful part of who we are. Simply being part of RPE makes our community stronger and richer.

We didn't mean to be in back to back fundraisers. Our Regal fundraiser goes through Dec 19, but yesterday they announced the WICKED FOR GOOD Bonus Challenge today only. Thank you to every family who jumped in or shared the post—wow!

Out of 77 schools, RPE is sitting in 2nd place. That already earns us a $100 bonus! 💙🐾

BUT if we reach 1st place by 11:59PM, we win $500—doubling what we hoped to raise this whole month in a single day.

Tickets are sold in $30 bundles of 2 (normally $50 value), and 25% comes back to RPE. In honor of Wicked for Good releasing tomorrow, the school that raises the most today gets the $500 bonus.

Thank you to everyone who joined our Nov dine-out at Alforon last night! Alforon is generously extending the event through today—just let them know you’re with the Rolando Park PTA.

We won’t have a December dine-out, but we are partnering with Regal to offer discounted movie tickets with 25% donated back to our school. The fundraiser is open now through December 19, but TODAY (Thursday, Nov 20) is a great day to participate because it’s the Wicked for Good Challenge to win an extra $500 BONUS for RPE!

How it works:

Adult tickets normally cost $25 and kids $22, so you save $7–$10 per ticket, and each bundle sends $7.50 back to our PTA. Tickets can be used at any Regal nationwide.

Our Rolando Park Elementary garden — part of the RPE Wellness Program by Nurse Kathy with help from our PTA members — is ready for some fall love!

We’ll be cleaning up from the summer and planting fresh veggies for fall and winter. 🥬🥕

All students, families, and community members are welcome to stop by and lend a hand!

🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️ Run Club is Back for 2025–2026! 🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏽‍♀️

We’re excited to kick off another amazing year of Run Club at Rolando Park! Our first meet will be Friday, September 5th at 7:10 AM on the lower field—and we’ll continue every Friday morning all school year long.

✨ Each student will receive a new Run Club necklace, and every lap completed earns a charm. 🐾

Charms add up to Rolando Park Races with prizes and recognition:
🪀 24 charms = 10K
🎗️52 charms = Half Marathon
🏅 104 charms = Full Marathon

If you start now, there’s plenty of time to complete a Full Marathon this school year! 🎉 When you run your first marathon (or at the end of the year), we’ll collect your charms and trade them in for a special prize.

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Parents & Caregivers—this is a fun chance to cheer on your student and all our Panthers while connecting with other families. We’d love for you to join us on Friday mornings to encourage our runners!
