We have 4 boys ... ALL FOUR of which have challenges. "Dancer", 7 yrs."Houdini", & almost 5 year old twins (Twin A is "Baby Monkey" & Twin B is "Baby Kakes"). We use knick names here on the village so we can more freely share with you all. If you know us personally please respect these boundaries so we can continue to reach out to other families. To give you an idea of what we face here is a short

description on 2 of our 4 special kids ...
Our 7 yr old "Houdini" has Autism, hypotonia, & sensory processing disfunction plus a "little" more! Then Twin B "Baby K" has hypotonic cerebral palsy, mitochondrial disease & Autism plus a long list of other diagnoses (including he's used "machines" for most of his life including a feeding tube since he was a couple months old starting with a NG & now a Mic-Key G-tube due to nasalphyarngel reflux & silent aspiration, oxygen, suction, pulse oximeter, nebulizer, VEST airway clearance system, inhaler, he uses a bath seat, wheelchair, gait trainer, specialized commode & a special needs car seat. The TOOLS help him to live a stronger more active lifestyle with their support. NEVER BE AFRAID IF YOU NEED THEM! They can be a bridge to strength & growth as we have seen personally!). Our road isn't easy but it's ours! We want to reach out & share what we've learned along the way! We HOPE we can give you some hope & laughter along the way! I have something I came up with while dealing with our life & it's a mantra I live by every day:

This page is about helping & lifting others up! Please always keep it positive in our STRONG village. STRONG Village is being run by a few loving friends who are here to help. SHARING works best when it goes both ways! Share with us & we can do so much more together! We want others to have support, friendship, & love instead of fear, isolation, & loneliness! � This page is run by a handful of loving friends that I've known FOR YEARS & our family. We are all here to help out! "Mama T" is me, the main Mom of the family you'll see featured on this page from time to time. My kids are "Dancer", "Houdini", "Baby Monkey", & "Baby Kakes" - we use nick names here to allow us to openly share but still keep our private lives private. "Thing One" is a long time friend of mine & a Mom with an adult daughter that understands the things we deal with well. I'm able to confide in her & she's very in tune with what's needed to get through some tough stuff. "Thing Two" is a lovely lady friend of mine that has personal experience & insane knowledge. She's also wicked good at computers & websites! She's rescued me, quite literally! "Kim911" is another friend who was a mentor to me in high school & since she's now an EMT she's literally held my hand many times in the hospital when many people were too overwhelmed. She has 2 older boys & lots of experience dealing with a child born with difficulties. I would love to welcome another admin to the group sometime soon!
