Triton Smash Ultimate

03/15/2020

Hello Triton Smash community. This is an unfortunate announcement to make, but the rapid spread of the Coronavirus in California has compelled the TS team to put a hold on our activities. TSS, along with all other TS events planned for the Spring quarter, are cancelled, and it's likely that this hiatus will last for as long as the state wide moratorium on large public gatherings is in effect. This is incredibly disappointing, but we cannot emphasize enough the importance of social distancing during this pandemic, and clubs all throughout UCSD have displayed a similar degree of commitment in combating its spread. We hope you all remain safe and exercise every possible measure to prevent the spread of this disease to both yourself and others.

Hello all! The smash.gg link is up https://smash.gg/tournament/triton-smash-sundays-75/details , which can be accessed by smash.gg/tss in your browser. A heads up that there will be NO PAID BRACKET tomorrow. Rather, there will be a resurrection bracket for those who do not advance further than 0-2 and/or 1-2 in set counts, depending on how many are in each category. This will be a great opportunity for those who usually do not advance further into bracket to enjoy more time spent as an active tournament participant. So if you end up eliminated from the loser's side of bracket tomorrow and having not won a match or only one match, stick around for a little while as we will have an event for you to join! We will also have dedicated friendlies set ups open in place of the paid bracket as well. Hope to see you all there!
