Recapping an incredible Company Recruitment event with ChipAgents.ai! πŸš€ This past quarter, we had the pleasure of hosting this up-and-coming semiconductor startup right here at the UC San Diego CSE Department.

They shared fascinating insights into how they are revolutionizing agentic AI to make chip design and manufacturing more efficient. It was great learning about their origin story and the exciting opportunities available for students to join their team! πŸ’»βœ¨

We ended the night with meaningful conversations, networking, and getting to know one another. A huge thank you to Prof. Julian McAuley for bringing ChipAgents.ai to our department!

Huge congratulations to CSE Cole Kurashige for being named a finalist in the 2026 UC San Diego Grad SLAM! πŸ†

Grad SLAM is an annual competition that challenges graduate students to distill their deep-dive research into a fast-paced, "TED Talk" style presentation designed for a general audience. A diverse panel of campus judges assessed the presentations based on delivery, structure, and the significance of the research.

Cole is a PhD student in UCSD’s Programming Systems group in the CSE Department. He took the stage at the Qualcomm Institute to present his talk, "Error-Free Software For All."

Proud of our students for making research accessible! πŸ”±
