Over four decades, Fred's unwavering commitment and boundless enthusiasm transformed SDSU in countless ways. From his pivotal role in shaping the university’s growth and development to his profound impact on students, faculty, and alumni, his legacy is truly enduring. His dedication was not only a testament to his love for SDSU but also an inspiration to all who knew him.
The Pierce family is hosting a celebration of life on Sunday, September 29th, at 2:00 p.m. in SDSU's Montezuma Hall, located in the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union.
