Le Lycée Français de San Diego

Le Lycée Français de San Diego Our school provides children with a lifestyle that meets their intellectual, emotional and physiological needs.

Fully immersive French bilingual school (Preschool through 8th grade) centrally located in San Diego (Kearny Mesa, Serra Mesa, Mission Valley), accredited by the French Department of Education. The Arts and Physical Education are part of the curriculum, contributing to the children's well-being and joy of learning. Experienced teachers propose activities that will provide the opportunity to pave the way for children to realize their full potential. Small groups allow close observation and enable teachers to vary their approach according to each student learning style. At LFSD, communication between children, teachers, and parents, is based on fundamental values such as civility, respect and ethics.

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the French Consul to LFSD. During his visit, he joined us for the inauguration of our new Wellness Area, a beautiful space made possible through the generous donation of one of our school families ✨
Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating this new addition to our campus, and thanks again Kianne and Shane for your continued support 💙

Last week, our 5th grade teacher Mylène (and track & field after-school activity leader) took on an incredible challenge: the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Nice, France 🏃‍♀️🏊🏻‍♂️🚴‍♀️ And what a result!
=> 95th out of 366 in her category
=> 628th out of 2688 women overall

Bravo Mylène 👏 Beyond the numbers, this is a wonderful example of dedication and perseverance.
We are so proud to have such an inspiring teacher in our LFSD community!
