Dr. Kristi Clevenger has been named the new dean of the Columbia College School of Public Service.

Dr. Clevenger, a professor of Education at CC since 2007, currently serves as chair of the Education & Criminal Justice Department and as president of the Faculty Association.

Columbia College lost one of its greatest treasures Friday, Feb. 2, with the passing of the institution’s 15th president, Dr. Donald Ruthenberg Hon. ’95. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family. He was 94.

The Columbia College January 2024 Employee of the Month is Melanie Taylor, Records Coordinator II in the Office of the Registrar!

The Columbia College Chapter of the Alpha Chi Honor Society is a community of junior, senior and graduate students in the top 10% of their class who are committed to making a difference.

Eligible students have been emailed an invitation and are encouraged to register by the deadline of Wednesday, Feb. 21. The induction ceremony for new members is scheduled for Thursday, March 7, in Bixby Auditorium on main campus.
