🔉On Wednesday, Sept. 15, from 12 to 3 p.m. ET, the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) is hosting a virtual career fair to highlight the variety of paid internships, fellowships, and research opportunities available within our Research Participation Program at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

During the event, you’ll have the opportunity to:

CHAT with ORISE representatives and mentors from a variety CDC of programs

LEARN about the research and/or projects conducted within those programs with LIVE presentations
EXPLORE paid internships, fellowships, and research opportunities

CONNECT with ORISE staff members for questions about applying, what to expect during the appointment, and to learn more about the ORISE experience

📣Solar Turbines Caterpillar Latino is holding a Connection Training Academy which will be held virtually through Microsoft Teams on Friday, October 29, from 8:00-4:00 pm pst.

12 students will be selected to gain valuable engineering experience through an assigned case study project, group presentations to a managerial panel, and mock interviews, and a case study. Eligible students have a 2.7 or greater GPA, are a Junior or Senior class level, in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, have US Citizenship or Permanent Residency, and is at least 18 years old. Prior Training Academy participants from 2020 are not eligible.
