Hey Solopreneur - What’s Your Survival Plan? 04/01/2020

I’ve been putting together a Small Biz Survival CRASH COURSE to help local businesses adapt and adjust to the effects of our pandemic.

The course isn’t perfect yet, but it’s good enoiugh to help some people, and I’m ready to roll it out now to get some user feedback & input - we can improve it together. It’s free to all solopreneurs, no strings attached.

Here’s what you get:

✅ An awesome biz planning tool. You get an online, drag & drop version plus an old-school PDF template you can print out & use anywhere.

✅ A live training session. Learn why, when & how to use the tool to help your biz respond to crises (and opportunities).

✅ Ongoing support. Our private FB group is where you can share information, advice, honest & informed feedback, encouragement & accountability with fellow solopreneurs.

I’m doing the first live training session inside the Team SOLOS FB group on Wednesday, April 1 at 10am San Diego time. Here’s where you can get in: https://TeamSOLOS.com

It’s OK if you can’t make the live session. We’ll keep the recording available in the group, and I’ll be repeating the live sessions weekly (until I get it right 😎). Again, it’s free to all small biz owners, no sales pitch, no strings.

22S "30 Posts in 30 Days" challenge: Week 4 takeaways

• Almost through the challenge - it went by way too fast

• Probably gonna keep it up beyond the 30 days. Maybe not every day. I may do a longer, better planned bit once or twice a week and try to leverage it. Post to YouTube, grab a transcript and chop it up for posts, etc. The experiment continues.

• This challenge has been about 1) learning a new channel and 2) discovering what I feel like exploring out loud - responding to my own interests more than to the expressed or assumed needs of a “target market.”

I think that approach will work, eventually. If only a very tiny fraction of 1% of all the solopreneurs out there are interested in the same things that fascinate me, and if we can find each other, then we’ll have a pretty cool community...

Here’s What Happened To My To-Do List When I Embraced Procrastination 09/11/2017

OK, I'm not sure I'm ready to get on board, but it's certainly an alluring proposition.

I've spent plenty of time beating myself up for indulging in procrastination. I wonder what might happen if I "reframe procrastination as a tool for longer-term time-management, rather than a mark of failure," as the article suggests.

It might be worth a try. I'll probably get around to it eventually...

Here’s What Happened To My To-Do List When I Embraced Procrastination Surprisingly, it didn’t balloon out of control.

Got Coffee? 09/05/2017

I've been posting Sunrise Sessions over on my Demos & Tests page as part of an experiment/challenge. Starting tomorrow I'll be posting them to this SOLOS page instead.

The "Sunrise Sessions" tab on this page is an archive from the beginning:

Got Coffee? I'm FB live at sunrise for just a few minutes to say something about working solo. Weekday mornings, San Diego time, down by the bay.
