Congratulations again Deer Canyon for such a successful Read-a-thon - raising $12,440! That's 124% over our event goal! We greatly appreciate the support of all students and families who participated. Thank you again!

This Friday afternoon, we'll celebrate our winners and our school victory with a small closing ceremony and Silly String Extravaganza of Mrs. Worthington!

Our Read-a-thon donations are still rolling in DC! We have raised $11,480 as of this afternoon! Way to go!

This week we had two serious classroom fundraising champions - Mrs. Swalley and Mrs. Fitzgerald! Both of their classrooms held onto the golden torch for two days each!

Mrs. Swalley's class earned 101% of their classroom goal, while Mrs. Fitz's class earned 114% of their goal.
We are still collecting donations so many classrooms' success continues to grow. Final updates to come after the break!

With one day left of our Read-a-thon, the taste of a Gold victory is within reach! Impressive job, Deer Canyon! Keep up the great work! Happy reading! We hope to see many donations roll in between now and the end of the event as students' minutes are finalized. We can't wait to see the final numbers all around and to congratulate our winners!
