In Conversation with the YCSD is a speaker series featuring notable members of the Yale community - faculty, staff, or alumni - who have interesting ideas to share about their work, life, or projects. Modeled on the fireside chats held at Yale by Heads of College, In Conversation is designed to be at once intimate, intellectual, and informal. Kara Felt, the Lawrence S. Friedman Curator of Photography at The San Diego Museum of Art, will talk on Sunday, January 26 about upcoming photography exhibitions at the Museum's two sites in Balboa Park. She will discuss her work overseeing a newly merged collection of approximately 14,000 photographs (following SDMA's merger with the Museum of Photographic Arts in 2023) and developing new exhibitions and programs related to photography.
