A little Spring Concert recap 🌷🎶

A huge congratulations to all of our ensembles for two successful nights of performances! Thank you to everyone who came out to support Mira Mesa Sapphire Sound, we appreciate our community so much! 💙💛

Our percussion ensemble had a great concert this past Saturday, and it really showed how much time and effort they’ve put in. From start to finish, it was a strong and memorable performance.🥁

Spring Concert is happening this Thursday and Friday and we’d love to see you there 🎶💙💛

Thursday will feature our Chamber Groups and Concert Band. Friday we’ll be closing out the week with Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble. Every group has been working so hard, and it really means a lot to have people there to support and listen.
Come out and support the Mira Mesa Sapphire Sound as we share all the music we’ve been preparing this season. Hope to see you there!

This past Friday, March 13, 2026… both our Concert and Symphonic bands had the honor of playing and performing original compositions by the SD Winds 2026 featured composer/conductor, Richard Saucedo.

The SD Winds Composer Festival provides a high-caliber, immersive musical experiences for student ensembles. The event aims to bridge the gap between young musicians and professional composers, fostering a creative and educational environment.

An unforgettable Sunday for our band program! Students spent the day at Disneyland and had the exciting opportunity to record in a professional studio, gaining a unique musical experience while making lasting memories together.💙💛

Let’s give a huge round of applause for all the Sapphire Sound kids that were involved (whether it be tech/stage crew, costumes, orchestra pit, or cast members) in this years MMHS Musical Theater production of Cinderella! They all did so AMAZING these last 2 weeks! We’re so proud of each and every one of you!
