Every day these incredible kids step off the bus and into Build A Miracle classes — welcomed with cheers, smiles and encouragment!

School isn’t just about learning here… it’s about belonging, confidence, and believing their future is bright.

Wow!!! First day of BAM Summer School! 680 Kids! Yes, you read that right- 680 Kids! We are so excited for all of these precious kids to attend summer school where they can learn, play sports, get fed a meal, get exposed to many wonderful activities! The blessings are numerous! We are so so grateful to everyone who helps to make this happen including the Education Team, our Leaders, our Executive Director, volunteers, and sponsors!

Learning to Swim! Such a gift for these BAM scholarship students who are learning to swim. A big thank you to our Scholarship Director, Selene Romero who had this idea and put her plan into action. Learning to swim has powerful benefits—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Meet Obed—BAM’s Jack-of-All-Trades (and Master of Many!)
He does it all, from making Build Days happen, to handling all things tech at the community center, and even capturing the heart of BAM through his beautiful photography. Obed is always willing to help, and we’re beyond grateful for everything he does to keep BAM thriving. Thank you, Obed!

Programs need vision—and action. These two incredible women, Lizbeth Ojeda and Claudia Hernandez, bring both to life. As leaders and implementers of BAM’s Education Program, they are helping open doors for students every single day.

Thanks to their dedication—and the support of our community—BAM has helped thousands of children discover the joy of learning, gain access to tutoring, literacy support, and explore programs like music, robotics, and English classes.

Off to School We Go!
Here in the U.S., it’s easy to take school transportation for granted—but for many families in the BAM community, getting to and from school can be a major obstacle.

Thanks to the generosity of some incredible donors, BAM has been able to purchase buses that are now helping more students access the education they deserve.

We’re so grateful for every person who makes our education program possible—donors, volunteers, teachers, and supporters. It truly takes a village to open doors and change lives through education.

Here are a few of our incredible scholarship students—now in college—who are working alongside our Business Program Leader, Jenai Funk.

These driven students are helping grow the BAM Business Program by reaching out to community members with dreams of starting their own small businesses, while also supporting those already up and running. It’s a powerful example of students giving back and building up others along the way.

The children’s area at our BAM Community Center provides loving daycare for the little ones of our volunteers and staff—so they can serve the community knowing their children are safe, cared for, and having fun.
