2026 Piano Students’ Recital

2026 Studio Honor High School Graduate

Sarah has studied piano with Ms. Mei since she was five years old.

In 2017, when she was 8 years old: (1) She received Level 3 of the Certificate of Merit. (2) She received Honorable Mention in the Level 4 MTAC Sonata Contest.

In 2019, when she was 10 years old: She received Level 5 of the Certificate of Merit. She was awarded San Diego Branch Honor and California State Honor, and was invited to perform at the MTAC Convention as an outstanding piano student.

In 2021, when she was 12 years old: (1) She received Level 7 of the Certificate of Merit and was awarded California State Honor. (2) She received Honorable Mention in the Level 8 MTAC Sonata Contest.

In 2023, when she was 14 years old: (1) She received Level 9 of the Certificate of Merit and performed at the MTAC Convention Recital as an outstanding piano student. (2) In the 2023 Los Angeles “Golden Classical Music Awards” International Competition, she was awarded First Prize and performed at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles in the winners’ recital. (3) In the 2023 American Protégé International Piano & String Competition, she was awarded Honorable Mention and was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York in the winners’ recital.

In 2024, when she was 15 years old: (1) She was awarded Third Place in the 2024 American Protégé International Music Talent Competition and performed at Carnegie Hall in New York in December 2024. (2) In the 2024 International Music Competition “Barcelona” Grand Prize Virtuoso, she was awarded First Prize and was invited to perform at the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona for the awards ceremony.

In 2026, when she is 17 years old: She received the Advanced Level Certificate of Merit, the highest technical tier in the CM program.
